Vanderbilt Pre-Specialty Entry 2021

I noticed there was not a thread created for Vanderbilt pre-specialty nursing for 2021, so I created one. Is anyone already preparing for this upcoming application cycle?

I attended one of the online admission information sessions and they stated that you are not applying to a "PreSpecialty" program, you are applying to the "MSN" program. Within the application is will ask you, "With what degree are you entering the MSN program" and that is where you will select, "Bachelors degree in a non-nursing field", which tells them your entry.

Where is everyone from?? I am from Oregon and am kind of nervous about potentially flying to Nashville a LOT over two years (I want to do the part time AGPCNP program).

Also, sorry to keep posting, but does anyone in this thread (or who joins thread) want to read and revise each other's applications? It seems that many of us are wanting to enter different specialties. Might be awesome to get different eyes on each other's responses and help each other succeed! :)

Does anyone know if the GRE is required? I am not able to find much information on the website and the next available info session will not be for awhile.

You will find all of the admissions requirements on their website at the following link, https://nursing.vanderbilt.edu/admissions/MSN/index.php and the FAQs, https://nursing.vanderbilt.edu/MSN/faq.php. You will see the GRE is NOT a requirement.
