Hey everyone! I couldn't find this thread anywhere so figured that I would start one for all of us who applied to Vanderbilt's Pre-Specialty Entry program (for non-RNs) this fall. I applied for the PMHNP specialty. What about you?! :)
I'm an FNP-only applicant, too, and I haven't heard a thing. I'd like to think that it's just because they've decided to not interview FNP candidates, but who knows...It sure seems that nearly every thread for direct entry or BSN/MSN programs this year has been quiet, so it's hard to tell what's actually happening in terms of interviews.
Hi all,
I've been reading this thread for awhile and figured I would post an update. I'm a dual applicant for the FNP/CNM program and I heard yesterday I was accepted to the CNM portion! They told me the FNP group make their decisions separately and that I would hear from them as well. I'm not sure if they will release their decisions early by phone or if it will go out in the letter on Feb 24th. Hopefully, we will be finding out about the FNP admissions soon!
Hi everyone! Congrats KLB!! I also applied FNP track and have not heard anything yet. I had a moment of panic today--any of you still working on prereqs? Did you send your fall grades to update your application? I just realized I didn't send my fall grades (when they came out in Dec/Jan) and I am wondering if I should do that now? I know it seems a little late, and Vandy didn't request them...any of you have advice?

@TarraLune I was wondering where you learned that Vanderbilt accepts 180-200 students for the Pre-Specialty program. I never knew they accepted that many!
