Today's the day - applications are open! I've been looking forward to applying for this program since before I was in nursing school - I can't believe it's finally time to apply, and almost time to graduate! Join me as we go through the nail-biting process of trying to get hired by VUMC!

Was this sent after your interview? I was given the last date (next Friday!) Can I ask: when did she say the deadline to know was?

I interviewed for CVICU on Wednesday and received the email today. She said I'd receive a decision by the first week in December so I'm jealous you'll hear sooner!

My apologies for the miscommunication- I didn't receive an email from Ms. Fargo because I meant my interview is next Friday (it was the last date for SICU interviewees) so I asked when the deadline might be. I'll let you know if I hear anything next week!

How has everyone's interviews gone so far? I was so nervous, I felt underdressed, and I completely blanked on some specific examples!!

I am dying here... I got a job offer at a different organization and I have until Monday to give my decision 😣

I just got out of my interview and I LOVED IT. The team leaders made me feel so valued and appreciated. Vanderbilt is certainly nurse-oriented! Mrs. Fargo said she'll make those who are accepted into the program a FB group and they can start looking for apartments and roommates right away. Very happy to have had this experience and I still am praying for all of our successes. Crossing all my phalanges!

Some people in my class who applied for NICU and Adult ER found out today that they got it.
