Today's the day - applications are open! I've been looking forward to applying for this program since before I was in nursing school - I can't believe it's finally time to apply, and almost time to graduate! Join me as we go through the nail-biting process of trying to get hired by VUMC!

I got offered an interview from Neuro ICU and waitlisted for the Adult ER. I am so nervous!

Did anyone get an email with an offer to interview for a track other than your initial selection? I got an offer to interview for the adult acute medicine/ progressive/ surgery track and am waitlisted for women's health. I just don't know what to do!

I am waitlisted for Adult ER and got offered a spot in Neuro ICU. Not to offend others that got waitlisted without another offer but I take it as they like you enough to give you another opportunity somewhere else.

I took the Neuro ICU interview because I also would love to be placed in a ICU and also because Vanderbilt is a great career start and a good resume builder.

I hope they still keep me on the waiting list as selfish as that sounds.

Is anyone still waiting to hear from Ms. Fargo to confirm your interview date?

Did you get a slew of other emails from them? My confirmation date and time was listed in an email from Vanderbilt Nursing, not Ms. Fargo and it was at the bottom of a paragraph thanking me for my interest.

I was offered an interview for the CVICU. I sent an e-mail regarding my preferred time slots, and am still awaiting an official interview appointment.
