Today's the day - applications are open! I've been looking forward to applying for this program since before I was in nursing school - I can't believe it's finally time to apply, and almost time to graduate! Join me as we go through the nail-biting process of trying to get hired by VUMC!

I'm from Iowa and just graduated from an accelerated nursing program in August! Applying for Pediatric Acute and Specialty Care! It's been my dream to move to Nashville, so hoping it all works out :) Anyone else Peds Acute care?

I applied for the CVICU! I'm assuming they wanted us to choose specific critical care areas due to the volume of applicants that apply to the critical care track? I'm really excited!

I hated choosing the area of critical care I am interested in, it was definitely a tough decision. In the end I chose the CVICU as well! Good Luck

I got my references and transcript in literally an hour before the deadline. Whew! Now we all wait. From looking at the thread from last years cohort, they received emails about interviews and whatnot on September 25, so not too long from now! :)

Hi everyone! I'm from SC and currently in the accelerated second degree BSN program at Clemson. My first degree is in Psychology and Spanish. I applied to Neuro ICU- I love hearing all the different tracks everyone applied to! Best of luck to everyone!
