Vanderbilt Nurse Residency Summer 2021

Hi guys! Vanderbilt's nurse residency program for Summer 2021 opened up yesterday. I'm starting this thread so we can all keep up with the process together! Who is applying?

Has anyone interviewed with peds/received a job offer. Doesn’t seem like a lot of people heard back from that track.

Had my interview with Burn ICU today! They didn’t really ask me any questions which I thought was strange. Just mainly had me ask them questions. So don’t stress if you’re interviewing there! Seems like a cool spot. Only ICU at Vanderbilt that does peds and adults.

For anyone that got the March 22 email, have you gotten an email or heard anything else within the last week?

No, I got that March 22 email. I put all tracks as peds.

I got the March 22nd email and haven’t heard anything since ? my #1 is the Women’s track! Would be curious to know if anyone has heard from either Women’s units... I’m definitely anxious!!

I think they are going to send a "sorry we had too many applicants we have chosen other people" "competitive program" email LOL. I don't have my hopes up anymore.

Ugh I agree ? Just wish they would send it already if that’s the case!!

A couple people in my graduating class have interviewed for PMAC but haven't heard yet. They've been doing interviews all last week and this week apparently so there may still be a chance!

Hi!! Does anyone who has accepted an offer know the timeline for signing the contract? Does it happen immediately after accepting or in a couple months once all offers have been extended?

They don’t have a contract. They prefer that you stay two years but there’s no document that you sign that legally binds you to it. But they give you a week to make a decision and get back to them but I’m not sure when they start sending the paperwork.
