I just attended Vanderbilt's fall open house for the 2020 year and I'm really excited to be applying! I'm hoping to connect with other Vandey applicants so we can offer support and info along this process. I am applying to the post BSN dual CNM/ FNP program.

I came to start a thread & I'm so glad one has already been initiated. I'm applying for PMHNP with a BSN for 2020. I recently applied for early decision ?. Any other PMHNP applicant's?

I read on the site that decisions for early admission will be out by Dec 15th.

When was the early decision deadline? I didn't realize there was one. Was it just for PMHNP?

Also, can you link the page you saw decisions would be released in December? I cannot find that info on Vanderbilt’s website.

Oh, so November 1st is considered the priority deadline. They told us it would be rare to have applications submitted after November 1st be considered due to the large amount of applicants who submit by Nov 1 so that seemed more official than priority. Best of luck everyone!

Anyone else get their application and all the materials in by november 1st and the application status still just says "submitted" not "completed"? to be considered for Nov 1st cohort it needs to be marked "complete" by nov 1st...maybe just taking a while to update but it's making me nervous!

Mine too says submitted. However, all of my material was in by Oct 20th, I waited til the 31st to make payment. It should be fine.

I missed the November 1st Deadline but will have the app completed and in by the end of this week. Has anyone heard of anyone getting an acceptance from applying during the rolling period? Since still November I’m hoping it’s not too late.

From previous years post, I've noticed people getting in by applying for rolling admission. I did note that one lady on the thread mentioned going to open house and hearing from staff that they are expecting an increase in applicants due to no longer requiring GRE, so they may only review those received before early deadline. However, we don't know for certain, so all things are still possible. I'm applying by faith. You'd never know unless you try. Hope the best for ya!
