anyone hear about financial aid yet? I find myself running to the mailbox each day! So excited to meet you all! Have you found housing yet in Nashville or are you distance?

When I talked to the Financial Aid Director she said they had hoped that the letters would go out the end of this week - so hopefully soon!

Hi all! Just found out today I've been accepted for ACNP Fall 2011- so stoked! Does anyone have any idea how large the cohort generally is? I've been online allll day researching Vandy/Nashville. Still waiting to hear from Penn, but I'm SO thrilled about this acceptance!

I got my Financial Aid Package in the mail yesterday! I'm in colorado, so hopefully you all will get yours soon as well! Congrats HeartRN! Are you relocating to Nashville? Buman, are you coming to Nashville? Are you in ACNP this fall?

Thanks for the info, 5ofPEEP. I'm in CA so I'll look for something today or tomorrow. Yes, relocating to Nashville and quite psyched about it! Like you, I'm in the ACNP program. Let's chat more as the summer progresses; it would be nice know someone, so to speak, come fall.

Yahoo! I got an apartment fellow future nashvillians! Close to campus, but pricey!! I think it will be worth it to be so close! HeartRN, I think I remember from the open house that there are around 150 in the ACNP specialty year (includes direct entry and specialty year folks), but who really knows!

I'm sorry I didn't get this sooner - was busy graduating from BSN :)

I got my financial aid letter yesterday. I'll tell you, the amount of loans I will have to take out really scares me!

I'll tell you, it's scary how much money it is, but I feel that it will be very much worth the cost. Vanderbilt is a great school, great reputation in the medical community. I'm certain that there will be wonderful Job offers awaiting us! I've decided that my future is worth the expense. Im so excited to get going!

Hey yall, I was accepted into the PMHNP program for the fall, yes LOTS of money. Anyone got award letters as of yet listing their scholarships, loan availablity etc.? I am excited. I wonder how many per class.....

I just finished my financial aid forms today. Really starting off on the right foot! Ah, my procrastinating ways.

How long did it take most of you to get your financial aid info after the paperwork on your end was completed?

Clearly, it can't take TOO long- it is June, after all!- but I'm still anxious to hear. I'm pretty nervous about the obnoxious amount of money I will have to take out in loans. It always makes me kind of laugh when people say, "Wow, how are you going to pay for that?" when they hear I am going back to school. I mean, honestly, do people think I have the full cost of attendance in my bank account? Hello, student loans!!
