I have a question for anyone who might be able to help. I really really want to attend Vanderbilt's AG-ACNP program. My grades are great, I have 6 years experience in an ICU, I'm certified, I have great references, i'm a member of Sigma Theta Tau, I've studied abroad. My question is this...I did not do well on my GRE. I did not make the minimum score on a section. Will my application even be considered? If I need to, I'll take it again but there is no way to have new scores by the Dec. 1st deadline. Any info. would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
The wait is killing me too. I keep second guessing everything. Having no ICU experience at all can't help the chances of my admission, although I just had a couple interviews for ICU positions that went very well so I'm hoping I'll land one and be able to tell Vanderbilt about this change.
So Jack, you're planning to do the distance/online option?

I'm going crazy waiting, still nothing! I check the mail every day, even though I know there won't be anything there until at least February. I applied for AG-ACNP, possibly with the intention of following the intensivist track. I actually prefer to create my own specialty in neurosurgery, if they will allow me. At this point, I really just want the admission letter!
