Valencia College Spring 2016

Hello everyone,

I know it may be a little early but who will be applying to Valencia's nursing program for spring 2016? I will be submitting my application next week and I just wanted to start a thread to see if anyone submitted their application already!

I know, it's crazy how much money is put into this to start. And I haven't even gone and bought my scrubs yet lol but honestly I haven't had the money, with Christmas and everything. I am going tomorrow though, and I am only getting one set to begin with. But you are right, it will be worth it in the end!

you don't need the white uniform right away. we start using it by the 3rd check off I think let me check LOL

Do we start using it 1 or 2 months into the program? Also, what's your schedule like for your second semester? I'm thinking about getting a summer job and I just wanted to plan ahead.

I think you have at least a month after school get started to buy the white one, I have school Monday and Thursday from 8am to 11am clinicals can be either Tuesday or Wednesday, the day before you need to go to the hospital that you selected and get the patient information to start doing you careplan the same day, try to have the first week of nursing 2 off.

Do we have a Facebook group yet? Also, I wanted to know if anyone would be interested in starting a study group and exchanging information (Facebook, email).

I would love too!! No, I don't think we have a fb page yet. I was going to create one but I wasn't positive if there was a fb page created and I just didn't see it. I was thinking the other day that we have been talking to each other over the past several weeks and we should exchange information.

it's a good idea, we have one with 105 members for 2017 class and it's the best thing ever we exchange so much info and help each other. it's fun

Since you had the idea, would you mind creating the Facebook page whenever you do get a chance? What's your Email address for Facebook? I'll add you now. I want to establish a study group before the first exam roles around which I'm nervous about already lol

I saw the one for the 2017 class but I was afraid that it wasn't my summer 2017 class.
