Valencia College Spring 2015

I was told that I will surely be in the Spring 2015 start date the time I submitted my application (mid Dec 2013) but for some reason they admitted me for Summer!

I am confussed. You started this thread stating you had all ready been accepted to the 2015 program. And now your saying you hope to be offered a spot for the program. Did you loose your spot or what did I miss?

I just received an email a few minutes ago asking if I would like to start Spring 2015 and of course I said YES!!!! I really hope I get in! Who else is starting Spring 2015?

That's great @boragirl!!! Told you you would....they just sent out confirmations for seats...I got an email to say they received my confirmation and to expect an email next week regarding orientation and stuff we can get done right away. I will be starting in spring...and I'm sure u will get in...can't wait...3months away!!!

I received my e-mail yesterday too. And I replied last night that I would like to do so. I guess I am now waiting for seat confirmation. I have been reviewing using Khan Acd.

I talked to a Term 1 student yesterday. Said first test covered 21 chapters. No reteaching what was already taught. LOL! She is already in the medical field, so she said it was easier for her then most. But at this point, she is pretty relaxed and it feels doable. But that first week is a shocker.

21 chapters?! Did the student mention which book the test was about? Maybe I can purchase a used book and start reading up! lol

Hey guys...just got email today for orientation and our compliances....so check your atlas account... Omg its getting so real now...so close this is nuts!! We have u til Dec 5 to subnit everything. Congrats again to everyone starting in January!! Yay!!

I also received the confirmation email today! I'm officially in for Spring 2015!!! The compliances needed are kinda overwhelming but I cant wait to start! I know the deadline to submit everything is Dec 5th but is it a good idea to have almost everything completed before orientation?

That's awesome! I known people that did get all stuff completed by orientation. But its not required. Dec 5th gives us still less tan 2 months to complete and come up with the money to pay for these things. $300 is a lot out of pocket. I know the next CPR class at valencia is Nov 8th. and its $40 and theres another in Dec. but i t hink its the 6th. so cant do that one. I have insurance so I will get my physical and shots next week as I already have an appointment set up. I so excited but there is a lot to do. Cant wait to meet everyone in November at orientation. this is going to be an amazing journey!

I will also probably register for the Nov 8th CPR class since the Dec 6th class would be passed the deadline to submit everything. I'm looking forward to meeting you (tvleon13) and the others at orientation!

I got my letter. I did my BLS this summer. So I am good there. The place I did mine isn't to far from West Campus. Closer to 50. I scheduled it on Friday for a Monday. It was that quick. I filled out the info for my background check the night I got my confirmation. LOL! Is there a special form they want the Dr. to fill out for the physicals?

Wow! IT's getting real! I have been trying to brush up on my A & P by watching Khan A. But I haven't finished. I wan'ted to go through it all at least once before we start in Jan.

@boragirl so exciting! Can't wait to meet you as well at orientation... Going to be so much information... Lol

@spangleBrown in the packet of PDF files the sent us...there's 2/forms there that need to be completed by physician for your physical. They need lots of signatures...lol...

So close...I need to start brushing up too...I love Khan. They helped me a lot with math and Chemistry.

Yay!! OK over excited! Lol
