Not sure if you are going to start now in FAM or still wait till spring...but if you are waiting till spring I found out that our orientation will be friday November 7th. The girl said if the need to change it all of a sudden that it would be the following Friday. So just a heads up for this starting still in spring...")

Hi did you the email about the orientation for 2015? I got an email today and it stated that orientation will be on november 7th at 10am.and also they want to confirm if I still want to start in January 2015. I am getting nervous :)

@nurseforchrist... Yup..I got the email and confirmed my seat right away.. Lol... I'm so happy...excited.. Nervous ..all kinds of emotions... I can't wait either! Can't wait for Nov 7 th now... It funny cause that's my dads birthday..and last year I got my acceptance letter on Nov 7th and now orientation is this Nov 7th... Maybe a lucky day!

Welll, someone say you don't want to go. So I can move up from Summer 15. I guess that means I will know before then if I get to move up. That is just 6 weeks away! Wow, time is starting to move fast. It will be here before you know it.

I believe they said by Oct 20th... Not too sure though.... I'm pretty sure u will get bumped...my original start is spring 2015. But I got invited to start summer 2014 which I declined and fall 2014 which I also declined. The thing is its really last minute when they tell u...so it will be by end of Oct. To only go to orientation in beginning of November. So be ready! Lol...can't wait...I hope u get it!! GL!!

OH, your right. It is less then 3 weeks from Oct 20, until Nov 7th. They sure have to have their ducks in a row to fill those seats quickly. Breath Spangle, Breath! LOL! Now I feel behind. I meant to be watching Khan videos to keep the info fresh. I better get a cracking, just in case. I hope to see you Nov 7th. LOL

Yea they sent me an email on Halloween last year asking if I wanted to start early and Orientation was the following Friday so I'm guessing they'll send them out around the same time.

I'm still waiting for the email!!! If I am offered a spot for Spring 2015, I will definitely take it! So, I should be expecting something by end of October?

I am confussed. You started this thread stating you had all ready been accepted to the 2015 program. And now your saying you hope to be offered a spot for the program. Did you loose your spot or what did I miss?

@boragirl yes. i would expect that you would receive an email at the end of the month after the 20th. which is when everyone is supposed to confirm or deny their seat. so after all that's done they will be able to see how may openings there are to offer seats to others. hopefully you get one. Like i said before spring 2015 is my original start date. But I got offered summer 2014 and fall 2014 but had to decline both. so I'm sure you might get an offer.

I am trying to make sure that everything is good to go with financial aid and everything.although it went in successful it came back stating that i have not been admitted into a eligible program. I am thinking because it still says pending nursing. From the email we got I believe that is supposed to change close to orientation day. I hope this is the case. so fingers crossed. Anyone else have that problem with financial aid?

Yes, that is right. And I believe the status changes after you attend orientation. When it changes, we should be able to see a new section on our Atlas account that is just for Nursing Students.
