Hello!
I have a question for any Valencia College students in Orlando, Florida. How many of you are currently waiting to be accepted into nursing school for 2019? I submitted my application in June 2018, got wait-listed before the Spring term started. I'm currently waiting to be accept for the Summer or Fall 2019 term. Please share the date you submitted your application, if you've been accepted or any news on the status of your application. Would love to share our experiences. THANKS!

We’ll have our acceptance letters LONG before the 22nd. Looking back at past dates, the students got their acceptances letters exactly a month before oriention, so I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if we heard something in between this week and next week.

That’s exactly why I’m setting everything up right now. I already have a doctors appointment set up and I paid for the Valencia nursing student CPR/BLS certification in CPR class for March 30 which was only $40.
Wanted to let something be known here guys. Not sure how many people have actually went through and read the orientation letter, but there's so much to know and start doing as soon as possible. So after we get our acceptance letters but PRIOR to orientation, they want us to order our background check, fingerprinting, drug testing, and document manager for our immunization records, which is a total of $188.00. They also allow you to pay that $188.00 in increments of 3 payments. There's a lot more information in the orientation letter than I can discuss here so it's better if you guys familiarize yourself with some of the details starting now. I would hate to see anyone left behind.
Here's the link to the orientation letter!

The cost of their immunizations might be a bit pricey, so I'd prepare accordingly. ? Don't forget to see if you can get shot records from old doctors! I'm trying to get a record of titers/immunizations from my job's employee clinic to save time and money.

Yes. Below is the copied and pasted link for you.

I got a copy from the military base, since I grew up in the military.
