VA Palo Alto New Grad Program 2023

Didn't see a forum regarding the VA Palo Alto New Grad Program that's supposed to start in July. I heard decisions are supposed to be solidified mid-April, so I was wondering if anyone heard back yet for interviews, etc?

Where are you guys seeing the information for orientation? When is it? I haven't seen anything about that. Also I don't see the benefits section in my onboarding page?

Was a urine drug test collected at the physical? or was it an oral swab? I haven't had thc in over 2 months but my at home kits are still coming out positive. Not sure what I should do

not sure if we got concrete info regarding orientation yet. I have a feeling maybe the benefits will pop up soon for you; should be on the onboarding tasks. seems like we all get info at different times (prob bc we all have different timelines for processing our stuff like background checks etc)

Thanks for the info on orientation and benefits.... weird that it is not up on my onboarding task yet! Also, I did get an email to schedule my physical last week, it was an email from someone name Christina! Might be different for each department however!

I would email and ask about scheduling it

Just wondering where everyone is in terms of the onboarding process? I completed all the major requirements like VetPro, Eqip, etc. + filled my forms. Just waiting on orientation to fill out the benefits section. I'm not really sure what the next steps are LOL Has anyone been in contact with HR/received an FO yet?

Sameee here. Just did my physical almost 2 weeks ago and finished all the required documents aside from the benefits section. Haven't heard back from HR yet.

completed all of that as well, but still haven't done my physical...sent an email out last week asking about scheduling info, but haven't heard back..not sure what to do LOL

Did a HR Assistant (different from HR specialist I guess haha) reach out to you? After she emailed me I was contacted by occupational health 3 days later to schedule my physical.

Has anyone contacted HR about the next steps regarding a FO? Waiting is making me anxious LOL. Thinking about following up soon.

LOL I'm still waiting for info regarding scheduling my physical...contacted them 3 times now, but haven't heard anything!

Sameee...I haven't heard anything back. I've emailed my person of contact 3 times already and no response LOL If you have any luck getting a response please let us know!

Maybe you can call the Nursing Recruiters Office to see if they can get you in touch with someone.
