I am hoping to start a thread for University of Washington’s BSN program for Fall 2020.
Is anyone else applying to the traditional BSN after being rejected or waitlisted for the ABSN? What are your strategies in improving your application this time around?
I am currently waitlisted for the ABSN, and having just completed my BS, I have my heart set on that program. But through the application process I realized that I would rather do two years of school at UW than do an ABSN anywhere else. I look forward to getting to know you all better in this process. Nope, we will be admitting 80 students again this year. We are actually expanding the waitlist this year In the event COVID does have an impact on students attending our program.

I'm curious of the same. At this point I honestly just want to know. I feel like I've waited a whole year and the more I wait the harder it gets especially in these COVID times. I just need to know so I can move on and focus on other things. I have barely slept thinking about it...sob sob! Anyone else in the same boat?
@Sciencewife I'm in the same boat as you. It's just a waiting game to find out now. The sooner the better, but I know with the current situation I'm sure the admission committee had to work 10x harder. I got accepted to the nursing program at SU, so finding out would just confirm my decision. If I were to get accepted into UW then I would most certainly go there. But we'll see. I haven’t heard anything or gotten an email yet ? Maybe we won’t get notified until next week?
From Adrian's post I'm now not even sure about the calls because he said "we may be making calls" it wasn't a confirmation like by saying "we will be making calls" so this means 2 things for me, 1. maybe I haven't received a call because I wasn't admitted and 2. Maybe they decided not to call and just email. If anyone gets a call kindly let us know so we figure out our fate
From what has been said in the forum it sounds like they intend on making calls either today or next Friday. My guess is if no one has heard anything yet then they may need the extra week and that’s okay. We have to remember that we have done everything we can and no matter what we are pretty spectacular people.
