UW BSN

Anyone apply to the UW BSN program for fall 2010? Next week we find out if we get to write a proctored essay, so basically if they ask you not to write one does that mean that you can expect a denial letter ? Wondering if anyone has went through this process.

Me as well (rn/lpn). I also applied to WSU, U of San Fran, and OHSU. This is my first year applying so I might be a little out of my league but thought I'd give it a shot.

I really want to go to UW. It means I won't have to relocate and it's a really good school. I just don't know why they haven't said anything yet...But I promise I will post if I receive anything! :-)

Perhaps the both of you guys are part of the lucky few that are automatically admissible and don't have to write the proctored essay.

I am sure even if you don't get in at UW you will get in at one of your other schools! I applied to OHSU as well, did you apply to the Portland campus? I applied to their Monmouth campus, just a little better odds. OHSU has an amazing program too, it would be worth the move down here! I am currently living in Portland and am volunteering at the OHSU hospital. But I would be willing to move pretty much anywhere to go to nursing school, especially UW!

Just called but I got a voice mail. Maybe there are multiple people in the same boat that didnt receive an email....

This is my first time posting something on this site. I have been invited to write the proctored essay and am very excited but nervous too! Has anything heard or know anything about the possible topic, or even a rough idea of what it is?!
