UTSW July 2019 Nurse Residency

Hello, I applied to the UTSW Nurse Residency for July 2019. I applied for acute medical and surgical. I'm waiting to for more updates, and to hopefully get an interview. Any one who applied could you please state what units you've applied for, have you gone on and interviews, what the interviews are like, and if you get hired or rejected? Thank you! I've applied to acute medical and acute surgical, and I haven't heard anything back yet. I'll post any updates I've made!

Hi! I applied to the UTSW Nurse Residency for July 2019 as well! I applied for Adult Oncology and my secondary was Rehab. I am still waiting on an update and haven't heard anything as well.

Hey there! I will be starting with the UTSW Nurse Residency for Feb 2019 and will be on the Rehab unit. It does take some time for them to reply back about interview dates but you will hear something from them. My interview was fairly laid back and had four interviewers who were a mix of managers/educators. Best of luck!

I applied for the NICU and L&D track for the July 2019 session. I have not heard anything back yet!

Hey y’all, I have an interview for PCU on Thursday and so do a couple of my friends. I know they are holding interviews until Feb 8th. Best of luck!!

Hey everyone! I applied for the Emergency Track residency back in November. I got an email for an interview last Monday, and had my interview two days ago. I know for sure the interviews end Feb 8th!

Hi, I didn't get any interviews, and I'm really confused as to why. I turned in all the appropriate information on tim. I think I know what went wrong. I applied for some clinic RN positions too, and updated my resume on that application. When I changed my resume on that application, I think I changed my resume date on ally my applications. So technically my resume wasn't uploaded on time.

Do you know when you turned your completed application in? I know a few students in my cohort never heard back from UTSW for an intervene or a rejections.
