UTSW July 2019 Nurse Residency

Hello, I applied to the UTSW Nurse Residency for July 2019. I applied for acute medical and surgical. I'm waiting to for more updates, and to hopefully get an interview. Any one who applied could you please state what units you've applied for, have you gone on and interviews, what the interviews are like, and if you get hired or rejected? Thank you! I've applied to acute medical and acute surgical, and I haven't heard anything back yet. I'll post any updates I've made!

I applied for the progressive care unit and got an interview. The interview went well and everyone was very nice!

Im wondering when we will hear back? I’m so anxious!

When did you interview? I interviewed for the ED a week ago, my friend interviewed for the OR last week. We haven't heard anything yet. But a few students in my cohort received rejection emails for the interview portion. I'm guessing we should hear back soon! Especially since the last day for interviews was the 8th! Good luck!

It does take some time for them to reply back about interview dates but you will hear something from them. My interview was fairly laid back and had four interviewers who were a mix of managers/educators. Best of luck!

I interviewed for the Acute Medical Track the last week of Jan. I felt that the interview went well, just keeping my fingers crossed!

Did your panel give you an idea of when you would hear back? I interviewed Jan 31st praying and hoping I hear good news soon!

They said after about 2 weeks and a few days from my interview date which was the last week of JAN.

I have no idea! I should have ask the same for the track I interviewed from. I called HR today and they said we should hear something back in about 2-3 weeks.
