UTMB Tradtional BSN Spring 2020

Hey everyone. I’m starting this thread to see how everyone’s status is going with their applications. I applied for Spring 2020 traditional BSN on 02/01/19. My transcripts were verified today 02/15/20. Does anyone know when I’ll receive the supplemental application?

I took Biology. I think it was basic or intro.

I think they do a couple of waves of acceptance, like 2 or 3 based on past threads, and then they open it up to waitlist based on any initial acceptances that declined due to other programs, etc. So I think no news for now would be good news? Also for an elective science I think I did just plain old regular biology?

Is pharmacology considered an elective science?

Lone star offers biology 1 for science and non-science majors. Does it matter which one i take? I sent UTMB an email already but was just looking to see if anyone on here knew. Thank you in advance!!

To those who haven’t been accepted (like myself) what kind of stats do you guys have?

I’m just curious on what others are going through with me. Both of my gpa’s are 4.0 but i made a 79.3 on my teas and didn’t have time to retake it ?

If they didn’t calculate in my last transcript my overall GPA is a 3.05 and science is a 4.0. Do they do prerequisite GPA? I don’t remember lol and my teas was a 88.7. I think it’s that overall that’s doing me in lol. Classes from years ago coming to haunt me.

I have a 3.9 gpa in all areas. I know what is hurting me... My TEAS score is an 80. I need to retake it but the longer it has been since I have taken the classes I'm worried I will just do worse.

I got an email and my portal changed, with a checkmark and the option to accept or decline. Once I paid my deposit, it went back to the green circle saying "complete".
