UTMB Tradtional BSN Spring 2020

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hey everyone. I’m starting this thread to see how everyone’s status is going with their applications. I applied for Spring 2020 traditional BSN on 02/01/19. My transcripts were verified today 02/15/20. Does anyone know when I’ll receive the supplemental application?

Also- do y’all know what’s the lowest TEAS score they’ll accept? I got a 79.3 overall. Math-97, reading-64, science-85, english-71.

i also have an overall 4.0 GPA

Their website says anything above a 70 is competitive. Their avg GPA acceptance rate is 3.33. I, too, am also wondering. I have an 83 overall TEAS, 3.22 overall GPA with a 4.0 prereq GPA. Has anyone accepted into the program know what they look at most?

Hello!

I applied for Spring 2020. Here are some of my stats:

TEAS: overall 83% with my lowest score in science with a 74.5%

GPA: 3.91

Science GPA: 4.0

I know we won’t hear back for a while, but I hope this is good enough to get in! Good luck everyone :)

Has anyone’s to-do list been updated/changed? Has anyone received any emails??

Anyone know if UTMB accepts LPN’s? I’ve been an LPN for a year and a half now. I have a 3.5 science, 3.5 overall and i’m taking the TEAS on Wednesday. Anyone know any other LPN’s that got accepted?

Hi guys! Hopefully the second time's the charm lol. I applied for Fall 2019 and didn't get great news, so I'm reapplying for Spring 2020! Here are my stats

Cumulative and Science GPA: 4.0

TEAS: 87.3% with my lowest in reading at a 79%

I also have some healthcare experience and pharmacy technician certified.

My TEAS isn't the greatest (and obviously not enough to get me in), so I'm retaking it in the next couple weeks. I'm also going to try and speed to get my BLS certification renewed since I've heard it looks good. The people that got accepted during the Fall had okay grades (some are really good, some are questionable), so I do think the personal statement is a REALLY big factor in getting your foot in the door. Good luck guys!

wow! your stats are great in my opinion. i think that TEAS score is fantastic. mine is lower, which scares me. i can’t see why you won’t get in. ?

Hey everyone! I also applied for Fall 2019 but have yet to hear anything so I went ahead and reapplied for the Spring 2020 semester. I sent in my supplemental app today. Good luck to everyone!

Awesome! Praying for us both!

Hey everyone so I am a little behind on my application stuff but do yall think its to late for me to submit my information to NursingCAS since they say they take around 3-4 weeks to review? Deadline is in two weeks! Debating if I should just not do it and wait till next semester or go ahead and just do it?
