UTMB Tradtional BSN Spring 2020

Hey everyone. I’m starting this thread to see how everyone’s status is going with their applications. I applied for Spring 2020 traditional BSN on 02/01/19. My transcripts were verified today 02/15/20. Does anyone know when I’ll receive the supplemental application?

Hello all,

Just stumbled across this forum and it has worried me a little that I haven't received any additional correspondence by email, since my supplemental application link was sent.

I frequently check my email and I know I haven't received anything. My STAR portal says my status is complete. I wasn't originally worried from a late response as other nursing schools can take awhile to get back with you.

Is this occurring to anyone else? It seems silly calling them and seeing whats going on with my application- as it seems everyone else had gotten news back months ago...

I just got a call today that I was taken off of the waitlist and accepted for the spring. I was accepted to the summer start as well, so I am giving up my spot for spring because I would rather start in May.

Congrats on your admission! Do you mind sharing your waitlist journey/process? Such as, were you ever asked for finger prints prior to being contacted that you were taken off the waitlist? I was put on the waitlist for Summer start. However, its hard to get a gauge on how the waitlist process works now, since interviews have ceased Fall 2019.

Thanks! So I originally applied for the January 2020 cohort and was notified on June 26th that I had been put on the waitlist. About a week after that, I received an email about getting my fingerprints done incase I was pulled off of the waitlist. About a month ago, I received another email stating that I was "high up" on the waitlist and that I needed to make sure that all of my prints were done and that I had clearance from the BON. After I heard that I was on the waitlist for January I immediately reapplied for Summer 2020. I found out two weeks ago that I had been straight admit for May 2020. Yesterday Ms. Botello called me and said that I was admitted for Spring. I told her that I already had my heart set on starting in May. So yes I was contacted about the fingerprints prior to being notified of my acceptance. Hope that helps!

When you received the email about being high on the waiting list, had you already submitted everything? I also received the emails about turning my BON blue card and fingerprints in. Has everyone on the waitlist received the same request?

They told me it can take 7-10 business days after they receive a transcript for it to appear on the website so I was wondering if they received my third transcript yesterday or today am I still OK? Hey! I know this is old and I'm not sure if you will see it LOL but I just applied for fall 2021. The deadline was 2/1/21 and one of my transcripts came through the mail and just got there today, 2/4/21. I saw on another thread that you were accepted (congratulations btw!!) was just wondering if your transcript ended up getting there on time or if it showed up on nursing cas a few days later? Thanks!!
