UTMB Summer 2017

Hi future nurses! I didn't see a discussion board for the summer term of 2017, so I decided to make one myself(: Let's use this forum to discuss grades, TEAS, and the application process. This does include venting! We all know how anxiety kicks in when there's a bump in the road. Good luck to everyone that is applying!

I can't wait for the application period opens. Anyone that is re-applying, any tips?

Just use the extra time to practice on your responses. I only had a day to prepare for my interview.

Still patiently waiting for a decision from the admissions committee. It is very annoying to wait three months after the interview while some people have heard much sooner. :nailbiting:

I will more than likely be looking for a roommate if I rent a house out. Im also looking at the dorm options.

Check on your todo list on mystar. They requested mine so I sent them. Still taking 2 prerequisites, so I'll have to send them in May before classes start

Hello!

I applied for Spring 2017, did not recieve an interview, and was denied. My best friend applied for Spring 2017 as well, recieved an interview, and was waitlisted.

We both re-applied for Summer 2017. I recieved an interview for December 8th and was accepted December 23rd.

She was still on the waitlist for spring, hasnt recieved another interview because they said her first one was great but she still has not heard back yet.

Is there anyone else in this situation? She is dying to know if she got in as her mom is a UTMB alumn.

Hey, I applied for this summer and didn't hear anything yet either, and my teas kind of low, so thinking about reapply for next spring. Do u mind share your status? I'm just thinking to retake the teas and wondering what grade will good enough for spring . Thank u
