UTMB Summer 2016

Hey guys! I couldn't find a thread for UTMB Summer 2016 so I decided to make one. I guess because it's a little early since they just open for applications. This is the first time I use NursingCAS so I'm not quite sure how it work yet. If anyone is familiar with NursingCAS, could you please share your experience? I sent in my transcript 3 days ago and right now I'm working on my personal statement. I saw some previous threads where people mentioned about MyStar and supplemental application/document? Is it something you will receive after you submit everything on NursingCAS?

I am still waiting on my verifying. I wished that I could of just done my application earlier into the application cycle. :/ I guess it is all about the waiting.

When did you submit your application? Try to call nursingCAS and ask them to verify it faster. Mines didn't get verify until I call them

i sent an email and they told me that my day wasn't being check on and that they were on the date of 9/21/15. My application was completely submitted on 9/23/15, so i have it is being verified this week. IF not I will have to call or email them again. Thanks

Anyone happen to know about how many applicant are there in this cycle? I heard they usually have less applicant during the summer but then I'm not sure

so i finally got verified. Now what do i do to submit my supplemental application? Do i need to get that in an email or how does it work?

They will send you an email with login information to pay and submit the supplemental application. After that, wait 1-3 days to receive 3 more emails for your mystar account.

SO i got my supplemental application. DO i need to submit another payment or does the same one from the Nursing cas work for both?

Of course!

cumulative GPA: 3.79

Preq GPA: 4.0

TEAS: 76

I thought I wouldn't get in bc of my TEAS score but I got lucky! :)
