Hello to all! I am applying to UTMB in Galveston for the Spring 2017 start. I have not seen any posts about this particular semester, so I thought I would reach out. Any body applying, gotten information, how was your TEAS test, pre-reqs, etc.?

Personally, this is my second degree as I have my first in Business Management & Entrepreneurial Studies. My mom is a nurse and has inspired me in so many ways, and I am excited to see where this journey leads me.
I made an 82.7% on my TEAS V and I am pretty nervous about this as I am not too sure how it compares or what the norm is. I hope everyone is having good luck in their application process and let me know how it is going for ya'll?
Just kidding. I saw you said May 15th. I applied the 16th so hopefully I will hear soon!! I have been logged in and checking my star every day since May 18! lol This process is giving me anxiety! lol
It's about 30 min long and it is with a member of the Faculty. They ask everyone a set list of questions, mostly to determine if you'll be successful in the program. There's really no trick questions. To prepare, I suggest going with a clear idea of why nursing and how you plan to be successful in the program (family support, study habits, etc).
Also, I attended orientation where we learned that 500-600 people apply to the Spring semester. Around 200 will be interviewed and they accept 130 people. These were just estimates that they gave!
Hello all! I submitted my application on May 31st and finished my supplemental on June 2nd. Any one that applied towards the end hear back yet? I swear I willn't sleep until I hear! I attended the open house and they were helpful. I am worried because the process is much faster then the timeline on their website so I scheduled my vacation to see family for late June. I am worried Ill miss my interview if I get offered one. And does anyone know if they send out rejection letters too?
I'm in the exact same boat as you and haven't heard anything either! It just has the little green dot that says complete. I tried reading past threads but some said they interview stronger applicants first and some said it's in order of submission so I don't know what to think! I've heard they give you two option dates that are a few weeks apart for interviews so you should be fine. Good luck to you!
