  1. So, at open house they said that they review applications as they get them. I applied April 15th and was offered an interview first week of June. They send an email asking you to call to schedule your interview. I was actually able to select a 30 min slot, Mon-Fri, over a three week span.
  2. Interview went well. It's about 30 min long and it is with a member of the Faculty. They ask everyone a set list of questions, mostly to determine if you'll be successful in the program. There's really no trick questions. To prepare, I suggest going with a clear idea of why nursing and how you plan to be successful in the program (family support, study habits, etc). Also, I attended orientation where we learned that 500-600 people apply to the Spring semester. Around 200 will be interviewed and they accept 130 people. These were just estimates that they gave!
  3. Sure! TEAS: 93 GPA: 3.8 Chem lab, sociology, microbio, physiology outstanding
  4. Got an email today to set up an interview! I'll be interviewing on June 10th and then taking advantage of the open house happening that day. Hope to see some of you : )
  5. Thanks! @rhizzymali for sharing your phone call with the admissions office. I submitted my app on May 15th, and the supplemental shortly after. The waiting sure is the hardest part...
  6. I put down my deposit as well! Does anyone have any idea when we will get more information from the school? I am down in Texas so I have primarily been using the website and faculty contacts for information.
  7. Hello! I was accepted as well. I'm all the way in Texas and have not yet visited. Can anyone share knowledge about Duquesne or Pittsburgh in general?
