Hello to all! I am applying to UTMB in Galveston for the Spring 2017 start. I have not seen any posts about this particular semester, so I thought I would reach out. Any body applying, gotten information, how was your TEAS test, pre-reqs, etc.?

Personally, this is my second degree as I have my first in Business Management & Entrepreneurial Studies. My mom is a nurse and has inspired me in so many ways, and I am excited to see where this journey leads me.
I made an 82.7% on my TEAS V and I am pretty nervous about this as I am not too sure how it compares or what the norm is. I hope everyone is having good luck in their application process and let me know how it is going for ya'll?
I interviewed with UTMB on Monday June 20th and I think it went really well! The interview is not so much an interview but more of a one on one conversation with a professor and they are trying to make sure you are a good fit for their school. They have a standard set of questions that cover things such as your personal statement, study habits, and support system! NO TRICK QUESTIONS haha after she filled in all of her boxes she opened it up for me to ask any questions about their program or nursing in general! I wouldn't stress about the interview just be confident an be yourself!
She was vague on when they would be sending out acceptances, but I feel like they will be in the next 2 weeks or so!
When you guys got your request for an interview, how did you receive it? Like did they send an email to your personal account or was is somewhere on the myStar account??
Hello guys, I've been following this thread since I applied, so I thought I should join in now. I got an interview for June 10, and I received a conditional acceptance yesterday for Spring 2017 (need to send off my final transcript with my final prerequisites). The interview definitely helped and it was pretty laid back, but make sure to ask questions. My interviewer was really nice and sweet, so I felt no pressure at all. She also asked about my personal statement, so make sure you remember what you wrote. (Thankfully, I reviewed mine before the interview). Good luck to everyone!
I have a pretty low Teas score compared to others in my opinion, and that's why I said they base it on the personal statement and interview! I spoke with someone before the interview started and she said that ours was the first wave of interviews and they would continue to do interviews throughout the summer.
