i'm here! your welcome everyone..i have been so busy trying to get my affairs in order before school started...guess what? i'm still not done...lol nice to have seen everyone today. this is gonna be great!

rocketsson..not sure if i saw you. nice to have met you sammie and i saw the rest of out little gang. even the girl whose mom made her go to the interview was there!

kcalalang could they have written your name any bigger on the blackboard?

Hi all!! I would just like to say I have enjoyed reading and learning from your posts. I am a new user to this website and am applying for fall 2010. One thing I'm not sure about, which you guys touched on a little throughout the discussion, is about retaking classes. I have retaken a total of 4 classes and have learned through this forum and now the utmb website that 2 retakes is the limit (this does not include withdrawls). If anyone has any knowledge or has taken anymore than 2 retakes please let me know. I have taken and retaken these classes between now and the past 5 years.

I'm still not real sure who I've talked to on here, although I did see emag. If anyone wants to say "hi", I'm in the light brown suede trenchcoat, dark orange shirt, brown pants, and long dark blonde hair. Hope everyone has a good day.

Skygyrl - welcome! I'm not sure of the answer to your question, but I think that rule only applies for prerequisites. Were those all required classes for admission?

Yes, toasterbell, those were my prereq's. I retook College Algebra, History2, Govt 1, and A&P1. I definitely would not have retaken them if I had known. I emailed someone about this and she told be to put it in my personal statement which I did. I'm very stressed now because of this. I had to retake A&P because it was over 5 years old and some schools have a 5 yr limit. Hope this does not hold me back from getting accepted.

I accidentally dropped my name tag and i guess someone found it and put my name in HUGE BOLD LETTERS. How embarassing! i saw it when we just came back from lunch and just GASP. LOL.

And sorry for my absence of this forum! I've been so busy getting all the stuff as am sure all you have! And the library has only 3 out of the 4 syllabi which come out to roughly 14 dollars. I have been told one of the syllabus is about 60 pages. :uhoh3:

Did they have the one for Adult I? Online, it says that it's only available through the library. On blackboard there's one that's 79 pages!!! On the other hand, it sure is nice to have a syllabus that's actually informative. Of course, I'm now totally freaking about trying to get all this preparative work done by Monday and wondering how on Earth I'm going to work 20 hours a week. Y'all?

yeah..i thought that was sooo funny kcalalang. i was watching to see when you collected it, but alas i missed you.

and if anyone had any doubt of my identity..i was the person who won the medium scrubs...lol

what? a 79 page syllabus! when i go to the blackboard..it kicks me out. so i haven't seen the syllabus yet.

Ok, I can fix both (hopefully)! For 3410, check for a little IE warning message on the top and tell it to go ahead an install (or something like that) then try to open it again. If that doesn't work I can look up your assignment tonight. If you're getting kicked out of blackboard, click on "problems logging in" and follow the instructions there. Basically, close all your windows, go back into blackboard, log in, log out, log in again, log out again, then log in and it should work. OR, I'm guessing that another browser would work, but I haven't tried it yet.
