UTMB Spring/Summer 2019

Hi I know it's a few months early, but have anyone started getting their application/essay ready to apply to UTMB for 2019? Lol I'm nervous looking at blogs from previous years. I'm also scared to take the TEAS. I plan on applying for Summer 2019.

Congrats!!!They are meeting again next week..

Summer! I wish the schools process wasn't so long. I've read on the forum people not hearing anything till January..

I think summer is wrapping up, I've talked to someone in enrollment and at the end was told to call the nursing department if i haven't heard anything in 4 weeks. That was around the 23rd or so of october. Seems like they are about to send out decisions for the third wave of interviews. btw I interviewed for spring waitlist which went really well and was told by my interviewer that I was a good fit and that she would recommend me to the committee, I still havent heard anything and just goes to show how selective they are with their applicants.....or they only care about the highest gpa and teas scores lol.

What dreadful wait, just send me my denial lol.. I like my bandages ripped off as fast as possible lol

I had a pretty decent GPA 3.6 and 3.64 I think

But my overall GPA was a 2.94 after 12 years of education and a bachelors..

So I'm not holding my breath on it.. I've seen some great GPAs on here lol

im assuming you have a pretty good gpa to balance out your teas score or maybe a previous science oriented BA, I've retook teas and my score is about the same as yours. unfortunately i messed up my overall gpa from getting too hammered during my first year of college \(o.O)/. with a clean slate i could be sitting slightly above a 3.8 or so but here i am...well good luck to everyone thats still waiting or been accepted, cheers to the grind.

Who knows what they look at; my GPA was a 3.9 and i only took the prerequisites. My resume that i turned in was about 3 pages too. Funny thing though i made like a 65 on the writing portion of the TEAS and was panicked but didn't want to retake

Hey guys

I interviewed on October 25th. I just got an email from Texas Board of Nurse Examiners asking for a fingerprint background check. Im wondering if this is UTMB? If so is this good news??
