UTMB Spring/Summer 2019

Hi I know it's a few months early, but have anyone started getting their application/essay ready to apply to UTMB for 2019? Lol I'm nervous looking at blogs from previous years. I'm also scared to take the TEAS. I plan on applying for Summer 2019.

She didn't say but she told me I should hear back within 4 weeks of my interview, which was week! She had a great and warm personality and she really made me feel so positively about UTMB. She did tell me, though, that there are around 130 that get accepted for Spring! Were you an applicant for Fall 2018?

This is the only term I applied for. Fingers crossed!

Yalls interviews were soo long. Mine was seriously about 30 minutes, lol. I agree we likely won't hear anything until after the last interview on Thursday. We're we the second round of interviews or the 3rd?

Hi @Nelehel, who was your interviewer? It really might depend on who you get and if they have someone waiting to interview, hence, the shorter interview.

I had Jolly Daniel. Everyone I've spoken to doesn't know who she is.

I think we're the second round because, the first interviews started mid June and we got our interviews mid July. Most of those interviews already recieved an answer. We probably won't get an answer until mid August.

That is likely it. I interviewed with Dr. Wisnewski. She was very kind. Judging by the past cohorts, I think we will be notified sooner. It seems the first batch waits longer while the second batch generally finds out in about 2 1/2 weeks. I believe the committee meets every other week, so that would be this week if I'm keeping up correctly. I have put wayyy too much time into monitoring all this, lol

For those of you who were accepted with an email for Spring 2019 when you went to mystar to accept did it say under the term Fall 2018?

Don't be nervous. It is seriously very laid back. It doesn't feel like an interview, more like just chatting. Be confident in your answers and focus on your good qualities that would make you successful in the program. Remember to hand shake and ask questions too.
