UTMB Spring 2015 Applicants

Published

Hey Y'all,

I read through the whole UTMB Fall 2014 thread and thought I'd start the next semesters thread (because I couldn't find one). I know the application doesn't close until May 31st, but thought it would be helpful to start this now.

I got my email for an interview. I'm so excited and nervous. I plan on being myself with the interview but if anyone has advice I would gladly take it. :)

Just be yourself. I've never had an interview like the one I had there. It was like talking to a friend. There is no reason to be nervous or stress. I would suggest being familiar with your personal statement. Goodluck!

Ugh! This is deja vu from fall 2014 process...staring at that little green dot hoping it changes to a check:sorry:....*sigh* torture

Keep yourself busy. It helps a lot! When I found out it was around 1pm on Thursday

I do need to go back and look at the other posts. Thanks for the advice though. :) I scheduled my interview for next Tuesday so I have some time to calm myself. Hah.

Decisions for every applicant or just sending out decisions for those who have been interviewed?

She didn't specify sorry

I have mine on the 19th. Going to cut back some weight I gained over the waiting course from fast food ( breath is heavy), look for an appropriate outfit, and prepare.

Did any of you (female) wear a casual dress? or Professional pants and blouse?

Slacks, a white shirt and dress pumps. Take some flats if it's been a while -- I parked nearly on the top floor of the parking garage and the garage elevator hasn't been fixed yet. Lol

I wore a dress. It was something pretty conservative. Not casual at all though. I would dress as if you were trying to get a job at a nice professional office.

Thank you and @dweeks thank you too. If I find a dress fit for it I'm going to go for it but I also have slacks. I'm going through them right now as we speak.

I'll be back soon!

That's the exact outfit I wore if it helps

I have my dad's feet so I'll probably go through some short ones my mom has lol
