UTMB Spring 2015 Applicants

Hey Y'all,

I read through the whole UTMB Fall 2014 thread and thought I'd start the next semesters thread (because I couldn't find one). I know the application doesn't close until May 31st, but thought it would be helpful to start this now.

Were you interviewed by only one person? What time are you expecting a response from them?

No. They will have more from what I was told. The first wave I believe is only going on for the next two weeks.

It's one person and it's a faculty member. I was told 4-6 weeks before we would be told.

I have an interview this Tuesday the 8th and I'm a little nervous about it! Does anyone that has already had their interview, have any pointers or tips on what types of questions were asked?

They were pretty generic questions. Stuff like how do you plan to tackle nursing school, what would you do if you got behind, how do you learn best, and about your support system and such. It's all very casual feeling. Don't be nervous at all. I know, easier said than done.
