UTMB Spring 2015 Applicants

Hey Y'all,

I read through the whole UTMB Fall 2014 thread and thought I'd start the next semesters thread (because I couldn't find one). I know the application doesn't close until May 31st, but thought it would be helpful to start this now.

That's great! I enjoyed my interview also.

Does anyone if taking the TEAS test several time can prevent me from getting accepted

From what I have heard they take the highest grade; I believe they have asked a few applicants in the past to retake it to be more competitive.

The only thing I have heard about that, is that though you're technically allowed to take it multiple times, they only really look at the first two tries.

Okay, thank you! That's also what they told my friend when she called to ask. That you can take it as many times as you want but that they look at each score to see if your grade improved, and that they take the highest score. I've taken several times to improve my score. (I don't do good on timed test)

Do you guys know how they decide who get interview first? Is it by who submitted their application first or is it by GPA?

I don't think it's by who submitted their application first

I submitted mine two days before the deadline

I submitted mine a few days before the deadline, and I interviewed on Wednesday, so I don't think it's by application submission date.
