The application process has just gotten under way for UTMB spring admission. Has anyone taken the TEAS tests? Any helpful hints on getting a high score?

I have not heard anything. Everyone is busy with the holiday season, but if anyone will be taken off of waitlist, that info will most likely be made known between now and 01/03. It is not yet over until it is over.

It took me about two weeks of calling them to unenroll me so people could be having the same problem!

Hey does anyone know what courses are included in the science gpa?

gfc123, "natural sciences" such as BIO, CHEM, A&P, just to name a few are included in your natural science gpa. Your transcript usually states if it's a natural science or a social science (e.g., sociology).

This question might already exist somewhere, but I didn't find it. Does anybody know how we're supposed to dress in class? Like the times when we're not wearing scrubs. I've been looking online, and some people say they wear whatever they want, like sweats and jeans, and other people are saying jeans aren't even allowed. If anyone has any input it would be greatly appreciated!

I don't understand it. It looks like no one has been taken off the waitlist this year. Should we just assume that we are no longer under consideration for this semester since it is already 01/06?

Was there anyone with a CUMULATIVE GPA of 3.0 that got in??

I'm applying for Fall 2014 and my cumulative GPA is below 3.0. However, my prereq GPAs are around 3.4 I just took my TEAS and got a 90.7% and scored in the 99th percentile. I'm also putting A LOT of time and effort into my personal statement, which I'm hoping will pull me through. Any advice/words of encouragement???
