UTMB Fall 2010 Application period starts tomorrow Nov. 15, 2009
Who here is applying for it?
Btw, there is the ATI TEAS entrance exam for FALL 2010.
Anyone taken it yet?
I can't seem to find the registration for it in the atitesting.com.
I take my TEAS test this next Saturday! I think 79% is not bad for not studying any for it. I have a test and a quiz in my Biology class this week so I do not know how much time I am going to get to study for the TEAS myself. Yeah I sure hope they are not going to really look at those scores too much since we are the first ones who have to take it, even though those that just got in to UTMB took it to "set the bar" for us.
Thanks veganmom! I really appreciate your help!!
I purchased both the studyguide and the practice test for 3.0. I just didn't want all my studying go to waste if that's not the right version. I may just purchase the practice test for the V version to see how that goes. My test is on Sat which is why I needed to know soon.
So I got the whole "TSI" thing cleared up. (A few people were emailing back and forth about it with me on the CC and they cleared it up and changed it.
I faxed another Application Signature Page this past Saturday but they're not open on the weekend so I called today to ask if they had received it and a woman told me that they're behind on the mail, faxes, everything, and that if I didn't see any change on my e-connect by next Monday (in a WEEK) to call back then.
I get that they're busy but I mean, I'd like to know if they have everything BEFORE the deadline passes and it's too late!! If they're behind now, they'll probably still be behind on Monday, and what if I fax it again and they don't even get to it until it's past the deadline? It's just stressing me out!!
I am at SanJac myself. I was just curious if it made any difference if they were taken at a university or a cc.
I really don't think so because many of the community colleges in the area are really good. HCC, San Jac, Lonestar. I think the only ones that would have problems is people from out of state, especially small areas out of state because sometimes certain schools don't want to "count" a certain class or classes from certain institutions. But most community colleges have really fixed those problems and are all accredited and very good schools. A lot of applicants will probably have gone to community colleges because it's cheaper, so I don't think it's too much of an issue in the selection process.
