Hi everyone! I haven't seen a topic for UTMB's Fall 2021 BSN admission cycle. What are your stats? I will post mine below.
TEAS: 88.7
Science GPA: 3.5
Pre-Req GPA: 3.7
Overall: ~3.7
I have worked as a patient care tech at Baylor Scott & White since August 2020.
Hi guys I am also planning to apply to UTMB, but my GPA is not good enough. I was wondering how do they calculate GPA. Do you guys know if they take the average out of repeated courses? for example, I have taken A&P 1 twice and I did better on the second attempt. so will they take the average out of those 2 attempts or take the highest attempt to calculate my GPA?
Hello all, I also applied for the fall semester. I have a 4.0 GPA with a 88 on the TEAS. Unfortunately my personal statement didn't really feel like anything special, so hopefully my grades will carry me.
I was unable to attend the open house, but I was wondering if anyone that did got any information on what the schedule will be like for those that get accepted?

I looked on the website and it says that we do need to include everything listed :/ For fall, they usually receive around 858 applications and accept 130 students. In Spring, they receive around 513 applications and accept 130 students. In Summer, they receive around 531 applications and accept 90 students.

I read on the UTMB fall 2020 thread that the first round of acceptances came on March 17th!
Hey everyone!
My stats are:
Overall GPA: 3.7
Science GPA: 3.4
TEAS Score: 89.3 with lowest subscore of 83 on Science.
I do have patient experience as I work at Memorial Hermann in the Medical Center right now! Just submitted my application a few days ago and it’s been verified so now it’s just a waiting game. Best of luck to everyone!

Hey gracestanzel, when I attended the virtual open house a few days ago we were told to submit only one TEAS score. Submit the score report for the highest scoring attempt!
