COLLIN COLLEGE ADN PROGRAM Spring 2022
Congratulations to everyone who got in, I am super sad because I did not apply to the ADN program but I did get into the lvn program. My stats are super good I got an 85 on the TEAS and completed all my prerequisites and I am reading yalls comments and seeing that so many people had lower stats than me and they got into the ADN program. Ugh I wish I had applied to the ADN program, I could have easily got in to it. does anyone know if there's like a waitlist that I could apply or if there's anything that can be done. Please help a girl out. it would be so much better financially for me if I get into the ADN program. then doing lvn and then bridging to RN.

Collin College Nursing Fall 2021
hey guys, I was not eligible to apply to the fall 2021 program because I couldn't get the competitive TEAS score but I am planning to apply for Spring 2022. Reading this thread is making me really scared, I don't think I have a chance now since all of you guys stats are so good here. I only have a 3.0 science GPA. The first time I took A&P 1 and A&P 2 I got a C in both classes, so I retook it and managed to get an A on A&P 1 the second time, but unfortunately got a C again on A&P 2 cause my professor hated me, and I have a B on micro. Because I have 2 attempts on A&P I feel like my chance of getting in is super low, but my overall GPA is a 3.4 and I retook the TEAS and got a 92 overall. so at this point I have a total of 16.2 points. I also have a CNA certificate and I worked as a CNA for 2 years, currently I am working at a therapy clinic, IDK if thats going to be any help, please let me know if you guys have any idea about medical experience affecting the decision. I am in a desperate need of help LOL, please if anyone know who got in with similar stats as mine please let me know. I know it's a super long post but I called collin and explained them my situation they straight up told me I should think about if nursing is for me, she suggested me to choose a different route LOL. But I am not gonna give up, at least not yet.

UTMB Fall 2021
Hi guys I am also planning to apply to UTMB, but my GPA is not good enough. I was wondering how do they calculate GPA. Do you guys know if they take the average out of repeated courses? for example, I have taken A&P 1 twice and I did better on the second attempt. so will they take the average out of those 2 attempts or take the highest attempt to calculate my GPA?

UCO Traditional BSN Fall 2021
hey, I am also planning to apply to uco. My GPA is not the greatest, I have a 3.0 science GPA and 3.4 overall GPA. I made 75 on my TEAS which is not enough. I am going to try again and take the HESI, hoping for a better grade this time.
