UTMB Fall 2017

Hi everyone!

I cannot believe it's actually time for me to apply to nursing school. It seems like I've been working on my pre-reqs forever now and it's finally here. I didn't see any utmb 2017 fall hopefuls yet so I thought I'd create a thread. I'm having one heck of a time with the application process. I'm taking my teas next Wednesday and submitting my application after that. Has anyone sent in their transcripts through nursingCAS yet? Anyone have any pre-reqs they still need to complete? I have one last semester to finish. Good luck to everyone applying this semester!

They changed the mystar...you have to have a different program downloaded and it is a 2 step process to log on. Call tech support and they can walk you through the process...you have to start with utmb.edu/iutmb...

I'm so glad everyone has is getting accepted! BUT has anyone gotten anything for 3rd round interviews? Also how do you sign into MyStar for Mac???

I haven't gotten anything yet, (constantly checking my email right now) what I do on my mac is still go to mystar.utmb.edu and click "log into mystar" and it'll take you to the login page.

Once you have your login, you have to go to mystar and download the VPN program. Once you're connected to the VPN you can go to mystar in your web browser and login.

Also, you can't log in with Safari, but you can with Google Chrome.
