UTMB Fall 2017

Hi everyone!

I cannot believe it's actually time for me to apply to nursing school. It seems like I've been working on my pre-reqs forever now and it's finally here. I didn't see any utmb 2017 fall hopefuls yet so I thought I'd create a thread. I'm having one heck of a time with the application process. I'm taking my teas next Wednesday and submitting my application after that. Has anyone sent in their transcripts through nursingCAS yet? Anyone have any pre-reqs they still need to complete? I have one last semester to finish. Good luck to everyone applying this semester!

I had an interview the last week of march, and didn't receive the email everyone else got either. Maybe since we interviewed they didn't send it to us!

I already had an interview. on March 13th and I received the email

I interviewed the same week as you and because we have not gotten an acceptance but interviewed recently compared to others Mrs. Botello stated that's why we did not get the email when I contacted her yesterday to inquire about it. I posted her responses above.

I had received the email though. I think it all was sent out randomly tbh.

I received that stupid automated email from Ms. Botello. I think they send it to those who haven't interviewed & those that haven't been accepted yet and are under review after their interview.

I've accepted an offer at LSU for their CARE Program which is highly competitive and one of the best in the country.

I just feel like UTMB is not taking the economical stance of students into account especially those coming from out of state that need to move in a timely manner.

So are they not doing interviews anymore? Or did I miss 3rd round?

Wow! So no 3rd round?! Weird.

The email I got on the 18th said 3-5 weeks. Weird!

"We are finishing up our final interviews this week and should have the remaining decisions out in the next 2-3 weeks. Please monitor your email".

I received this from Ms. Botello yesterday.
