UTMB FALL 2014

I would like to start a thread for UTMB FALL 2014 since there I cannot find one. I am in the process of applying and this is the only school I am applying to. Right now, I just trying to finish my personal statement before I can submit it. I am a bit nervous and excited at the same time.So, how is everyone else doing?

No word for me either :/ my interview was on 3/18 so it's been 2 weeks now. Hopefully they'll be sending out more acceptance emails soon!! Don't lose hope guys! Also, congrats to everyone who has been accepted! Even if not for UTMB. That is awesome!! :) I know I'm a little late with posting on here but will try and keep up with y'all a little better! Hang in there everyone! Stay positive! :)

Mine will be 3 weeks tomorrow too! Ahhhh! The wait is just killing me! They told me 2-4 weeks when I had my interview, so I have not given up hope yet!

3/11 and still no news, I still have my hopes up. I've called an all they say is that if we have not gotten a denial letter/email we are still being considered! I want to start looking for apartments, but at the same time I feel like I can't really do that until I hear back :/ this is such a long wait! Keep hanging tight, the odds are still in our favor!

For those of you still waiting, if you don't mind me asking, what are your stats?

I cannot for the life of me find my test scores. but either way, I made I think an 82 on the TEAS V. (The math and the grammar brought me down, but I scored at least an 80% in all sections)

My overall GPA when applying was a 3.298

Science: 4.0 (Unless you add in life sciences like Psych, then I had some Bs. But UTHSC didn't add those so I'm not. :p)

I read somewhere that your science TEAS scores has to match or be better than your science GPA, and that made me really question, but I'm pretty positive I got a 90 on the science section.

I just wanted to let all of y'all know [or reiterate] that you can already feel awesome about yourselves! One of my best friends didn't even get an interview and honestly, people, she is literally the best student I've ever seen/known. To watch her disappointment and feel her pain from the no-interview rejection was simply heartbreaking. I know that waiting is a BEAST and that it's easy for me to say that you should feel proud even amidst your anxiety, but seriously! You made it this far above some very well-qualified candidates, and they will be accepting folk all the way down to the wire before classes.

Just wanted to wish everyone waiting good luck...I've been accepted to Tx Tech's program and will be giving up my spot at UTMB to stay here in Lubbock. Hang in there and like the poster above said...last year people were placed days before classes started.
