Hello! I searched the site and seen no one made a topic about the people trying to enter in Fall 2013 so here is it :up: I am applying to UTMB for Fall 2013. I've written my personal statement and filled in the application. Now i'm waiting on nursing CAS to receive all my transcripts and to take my TEAS test on Jan. 8. I'm so nervous. How is everyone else coming along?

I just joined allnurses and I know I am a little late haha but I just recently got accepted into UTMB and just wanted to join the conversation and say hi to everyone! :)

when did you get accepted? when is it on your acceptance letter? thank you very much! I just want to know if the school started to get more students after the first ten student. How is your GPA and TEAS score? If you feel not comfort to say it,that's fine and you do not have to say it. I have not get any thing from school yet. My GPA is 3.77 and TEAS score is 70.7. I am worried so much! I know my TEAS score is not good enough!

Thank you! :) And I was one of the 10 along with my sister Carla that has already posted on here! So i don't think they have released more acceptances that i know of anyway. I got accepted on march 8th. My GPA is a 4.0 and TEAS score is an 85. I hope you get an acceptance letter as well! :)

All of y'all people who got accepted did y'all get accepted to the honors program?? I didn't apply for the honors program. When I called the SON office they told me they are still working on summer applications and they haven't started on Fall applications. Also, they told me they will send out decision letters for Fall by the end of April.

I'm kind of scared now because I have a gpa of 3.7 and a low TEAS score of 66.

I think UTMB focuses more on the personal statement and the whole person rather than scores. You have a great GPA! So I am sure you will be fine!

I am a little confused as to why some of the 10 that were already accepted were accepted. Like Colleen, I know of another student who was accepted early however she didn't meet the requirements of the honors program either. The requirements are a 3.75 GPA or higher, no science grade less than a B, and a minimum score of 90 on the TEAS to even be eligible for the honors program. So with Colleen having an 85 on the TEAS, wouldn't that disqualify her from the honors program? (Same with the other student I know, she received an 87 on TEAS)

My grades were comparable but I wasn't accepted early. I have a 3.94 GPA, no science grade lower than a B, however I got an 82 on the TEAS.
