Thank you so much for writing this. This is extremely helpful. I do however have one question. I know you mentioned health insurance and I was wondering if you were familiar with any that are affordable? I did not know we were required to have health insurance, just malpractice insurance.

Theyre only accepting 5 people in the honors program.

I have a 3.94 GPA, and a 81.3 on TEAS.

Did anyone else get an email invitation to apply to the Nursing Honors Program at UTMB today?

Thank you to everyone that replied. And May? Wow. That is almost unacceptable. It doesn't take 3 months to process applications. I was accepted into TWU already and I can almost guarantee they had more applications to process. Their deadline was February 1 and I was notified March 21.

I am slightly confused. Has anyone outside of the first 10 who qualified for honors program been accepted? I haven't heard anything at all and my status on the mystar account still just reads "complete."

Yes I did. I went and spoke with them last week after I received my award letter.

Hi, The financial aid award letter is not including any schoalrships or grants from the state of Texas or from the University. They will not be awarded until May 25 because they have to wait until the semester ends to ensure that your GPA meets the requirements, so it is very liekly that your award letter will be updated after that date. Hope this helps :)
