UTMB Fall 2012

HI! I am applying for the traditional BSN program at UTMB that starts Fall 2012. I am taking my TEAS this friday and I wanted to know if anyone else here is applying for the same semester. Hopefully there are others so I don't have to be nervous alone!!

Hello everybody,

I applied on january 6 and on my "mystar" it still says incomplete courses in progress. I called utmb to check on the status and they said it was complete but just needed my transcript after this semester. I called several times to ask when will it be sent to the SON but they keep saying for the past 3 weeks it is complete and will be sent in 2-3 days but still it hasn't and shows incomplete. Does anybody have this problem? or does it mean I wasn't accepted?

@kaimcn12 I don't think they're done. But last I heard from my interviewer was that I should've heard something by now. He mentioned he'd find out why I hadn't heard anything and then responded by telling me that I should hear something in the near future. So I'm super nervous! I guess I'm just expecting the worst but hoping for the best.

Your application and transcripts should already have been sent to the school of nursing by the UTMB office. When they say they just need your transcript from the end of the semester you are currently in, they just want to know you completed the classes that you said you were currently in. It will not hold you back from acceptance and it will not delay your application being sent to the SON!

I am still in classes and was told to send my transcript after I finish this current semester. I still got in so I know not having some classes complete does not hold you back.

A lot of people on here had or still have incomplete. No need to worry. I would just make sure that they received your application and transcripts.

@Nailpolish Thank you for giving me hope. I have been following this thread and finally created an account today. I have seen many people who have gotten their interviews and acceptance emails and it was just making me worried that I havn't recieved any notice from UTMB. I called the school today and asked about my status. They have been telling me that my application is complete and is in the review committee and will be sent over the next 2 days or so and they have been saying this for the past two weeks now. I really don't know if my application was finally sent over or not?

That gives me so much hope! Because I'm currently taking 14 hours now. And have 7 to take in the summer. May I ask what your GPA and TEAS were, and what day you interviewed?
