Hi My Fellow Nurses,
My name is Letisha, and I live in Brooklyn, NY. I am seeking an online Family NP Program. I know about Frontier, Downstate and Utica College. Does anyone have any reviews about Utica's online FNP program? I know it's a relatively new program. Any info is very much appreciated!

I know it’s a lot. But honestly some of the questions are based off the get you thinking. If you have Leik which is a FNP prep book, it helps by reading the section you are studying e.g meds, heart failure, rashes etc.. it helps to know the first line treatment and also the distinguishing factors. Some questions are very tricky and I must emphasize.. invest in Quizlet Plus. Focus on the questions. They are pulled from Fitzgerald as well as Dunphy

Hi Jen, It’s a lot but it is important.. look at the message I sent to Mrs Clarex. It sums it up there
It is clearly stated in the syllabus that the content for the final is from the midterm forward, but I guess stating the rules before a class is not a thing anymore. The final is cumulative and they told us at the last minute. Nothing we can do…except study and hope for the best at this point. They have changed the rules for this section of classes multiple times this semester already. I just want it over.

Hey ladies good morning.. the final is and should be as stated in the syllabus cumulative from the midterm to week 8/16, whatever applies.
I would definitely reach out to your coordinator of the session you are in, I believe it’s Dr C if you are getting misinformed information. That does not seem accurate at all and has never been done at Utica. I’m taking my finals for 625 as well, and it’s from midterm on. Don’t panic; just know you always have a chain of command and reach out for clarification. I am almost 100% certain whoever told you that is wrong.
plus you need to focus on the test content so this is very important. Email Dr Ceccucci if she is still in charge of 622, if not then reach out to Dr Yingling. These two ladies will have the correct info

OMG best news, thanks Jen! Also I was confused by the email about the soots survey- I was under the impression it was three points to the final. Not the lowest test or quiz score. I’m a little bummed our section also didn’t get to participate in the three hour review session that all of the other sessions did.

Do the “get you thinking” for the week of finals and review all the PowerPoint from the midterm on. Also do practice questions on Quizlet
