UTHSCSA Traditional BSN Application Fall 15

Hey guys!

So the application to start in the Fall of 2015 is due on February 1st. Really, that is right around the corner if you think about it!

Let this thread be dedicated to all hopefuls!

I still have to take the Teas V, but I did buy the study guide with 2 tests so hopefully that helps. My cumulative GPA will be 3.2ish and my pre-req GPA will be close to 4.0. I'm extremely anxious about getting in that is for sure!

Hey guys so I've been a little busy helping my husband open up his business. We're opening a cell phone repair shop! So if any of you all ever need any sort of service done let me know and I'll make sure to get you all discounts :) So all that has been keeping me busy!! I'll be going through some training all next week to become a certified level 3 cell phone technician so I'll be distracted. I'm hoping to hear by the 23rd of March. If I'm not mistaken they always let them know of acceptance on a Monday? Logging on here always makes me so anxious and gets my heart racing!!! I've been hitting the refresh button like crazy :(

Our deadline for the supplemental application was Feb 9th. I got my confirmation email that my supplemental application was received on Saturday Feb 7th

Well didn't last year's applicants wait a good long while (a month or so) from deadline to acceptance? Maybe it just depends on how many applicants there are, how busy they are, etc...

I was thinking it would be after Spring Break... I think they sent our supplemental applications out early. I am sure they have to review graduate programs too.

Wasn't there an extension or something last year for the deadline? (I'm probably mis-remembering) but that could be why it was so close together?

Guys I have put a lot of thought into figuring out when they might come in (probably so I don't stress myself out too bad lol). But I already figured it was going to be past the 10th. My original guess was going to be the 14th (because it's half way through the month and that's when last fall got theirs) but it's a Saturday so that's a no go. So my new guess is either Wednesday the 11th or the 16th. :)

Hey y'all. My name is Will. I am in second semester right now along with tx2stepper. I just wanted to say good luck to all of you! I know the waiting can really be stressful. I remember checking my email CONSTANTLY!! Like seriously hitting refresh every 5-10 minutes for weeks lol. Tx2stepper and I were on here too and had a thread going just like this! lol... That's crazy! Did you get into the accelerated? Its been almost a month since they have started reviewing our supplementals

No, i got into the traditional track. I'm currently waiting to find out if I got in the Master's program; in a way, I'm on the same boat as you guys, waiting to hear from them. Deadline for supplemental was Feb 26, and they told us they will let us know before April 1st. I'm sure you'll find out earlier than I will :)

So I was lookin' around the site again for the school. Came across the computer requirements... didn't they use to offer like 5 different laptops? Now there are only two choices. Do you know if they are the same price?

I thought there were 3? And I believe the Mac is more expensive
