Hello! So I had seen threads started for past classes and didn't see one yet for the Fall of 2014 class, so I figured I would start one. So let me introduce myself. My name is Will Long, I am a 27 years old male and I am applying for UTHSCSA's Traditional BSN program for the Fall of 2014. I have started my application and have signed up to take the TEAS test next Friday. I am pretty excited about finally being able to apply after finishing up all the pre-reqs. Anyways I was hoping this thread could be used a source of information and a place to ask each other questions throughout the application process. Anybody else out there applying? Have you already taken your TEAS test?

Yeah but the email said they won't be sending out the acceptance letters until the week of april 7 to 11... So the april 4th is just added to another days of waiting and uneasiness. I got accepted to incarnate word too so if this doesn't work out I guess I still have the incarnate word..

Oh yeah, you're right I got confused by all the dates on my calendar. Too much going on in April I can't even think.
I'm getting tripped up by the residency application. Part D is asking about high school graduation. Since I graduated out of state, I have to fill in part E. It's asking about if I file my "own" federal income tax. I currently do not work, but my spouse files for us. So do I put yes or no? I'm thinking I put no, but fill in the blank marked other in Part E3. Anyone else think this is right? I'm the lucky one who gets to fill out the whole dang form!
Mirasmom, I think your answer is correct given you situation. Just tell them basically what you just told us in the explanation part and they should understand. They're just trying to determine the basis of your claim that you are in fact a Texas resident so they don't bill you out of state tuition.
