Hello! So I had seen threads started for past classes and didn't see one yet for the Fall of 2014 class, so I figured I would start one. So let me introduce myself. My name is Will Long, I am a 27 years old male and I am applying for UTHSCSA's Traditional BSN program for the Fall of 2014. I have started my application and have signed up to take the TEAS test next Friday. I am pretty excited about finally being able to apply after finishing up all the pre-reqs. Anyways I was hoping this thread could be used a source of information and a place to ask each other questions throughout the application process. Anybody else out there applying? Have you already taken your TEAS test?

That sucks. I'm also concern about several of my classes not transferring. I wish they would send evaluations so that we can check if all our classes transfer.
Yeah, it does suck. I tried to talk to them about it before and all I got was run around and they didn't know what they were talking about. First they said it'd transfer, then it wouldn't, then it would, then it wouldn't, then I need to apply to find out. Gee thanks. Not only that, but the equivilency table is useless for me because I'm an out of state military student! So I think I will just do General Chem 2 this summer just in case it doesn't transfer.
@ratlady-if I get accepted I'm going to send them an email about some of my courses. I went to A&M and will have 104 hours after this semester and I'd be extremely upset if I have to take anymore considering I'm still unsure of their policy regarding maximum hrs until out of state tuition applies. Good luck on your petition.
@Saucynat-yes, I'm almost certain that this is a full two year program with summers off. I don't know about y'all but I would prefer the break and taking things by stride than to do it all at once.
@Badgerb0y- I didn't want to risk it and made mine fit the box without it getting smaller. It didn't make sense to me to go beyond that cause then you could make it as long as you want. Also keep in mind that your supplementary app only counts as 1%.
Ok, all ready to submit...but I have a dumb question. When it says our essays are limited to the spaces provided, how long were y'all's responses? My browser may be weird, because it will shrink the text down to unreadable and fit entire pages of text
I had the same issue...I kept my responses to around 200 words or so...that kept it reasonably easy to read...
