Hello! So I had seen threads started for past classes and didn't see one yet for the Fall of 2014 class, so I figured I would start one. So let me introduce myself. My name is Will Long, I am a 27 years old male and I am applying for UTHSCSA's Traditional BSN program for the Fall of 2014. I have started my application and have signed up to take the TEAS test next Friday. I am pretty excited about finally being able to apply after finishing up all the pre-reqs. Anyways I was hoping this thread could be used a source of information and a place to ask each other questions throughout the application process. Anybody else out there applying? Have you already taken your TEAS test?
Hey guys I heard that they are falling behind. But there was no specifics if we would receive the supplemental application for sure on Friday or they might have to push it back. But just giving you guys an update I heard when I called on an unrelated matter. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for everyone!! :)
Great news that the emails are rolling in. Still waiting! I hear the supplemental apps are due like in a week or so, when we respond do we also have to submit any payments at that time, for example to hold our seats?
Oh my gosh!!! I just got mine too! I received the email about the supplemental application! I'm so happy!!!!!!! Guys you have no idea how much jumping I did here at wrk!! If I could do cartwheels I would!! A friend of mine in the nursing program of uthscsa said that if you received the supplemental application, you're pretty much considered as accepted in the program! I'm so happy!
Mirasmom, I know the website says there is another $45 application fee with the supplemental application. I don't think the "seat holding" fee is due until after we receive our actual acceptance letter.
