I haven't seen a thread for the Health Science Center in San Antonio, so I decided to create one since I am curious as to when we will find out if we are accepted or not. I am very nervous! I really want to go to this school but I know a couple of people that didn't get accepted from previous terms that had a better GPA or a better TEAS V score than I do. I am praying!!!

That actually does help, thanks! :) I think I'm going to do it today. I just want to quadruple check that all my coursework has been entered correctly. Once that is done, I think I will submit it.

Don't stress too much on the course work! Well I mean try to get it in there correctly but nursing cas sends an email after you sumbit it and let's you know they fix any minor mistakes :)

Yes check it like 10 times. I submitted mine, and they sent it back to me because I didnt enter a college "I attended"

I did all of my prereq classes at Lone Star College (montgomery campus) and just took one online class at lone star college (tomball) so they emailed me saying I needed to include that! I didnt realized at the moment I entered my coursework since it is all the same systen just different campuses...

I hope they don't send it back. I called and emailed making sure I only needed one transcript from the Alamo Colleges and they assured me that's all I needed, so I hope they are right!

Hi guys, I'm in a bit of a dilemma. I would really love to apply to UTHSCSA but I haven't taken a second chem course yet. I plan to do that in the Fall, but I know the deadline for next Spring is coming up pretty soon… Does anyone know if I can still apply even if I'm missing a second Chem? I've got all other prerequisites satisfied… I've emailed them, but I haven't received word back yet.

Sadly, you cannot apply until all of your math/science prereqs are complete. They only allow courses like humanities to be completed before orientation. Sorry! I hope you can get in for fall!

Hello Everyone! I am glad I came across this thread. I applied for the Spring 2015 BSN @ UTHSCA I am very nervous my teas score was a 64%, my math and science gpa is 3.4, and my cumulative is 3.2.... I wish they were higher but it is what it is..I also applied to the nursing program at SAC, but my goal is to get in to UTHSC! NursingCas said my application was good to go, which was good news because I was so nervous in submitting it in fear that I missed something lol.. I wish everyone the best!!! I swear september can not come fast enough.

I think you have really good GPA and math/science GPA to make up for the TEAS. Stay positive :) I spend most of my free time on Netflix to keep busy

From Galveston nothing (the one that has been handling my application) is on vacation until the 29th. Here's the thing, I made a 70 on my TEAS. They didn't reject me , yet, but they did ask me to retake it.? I made a 78.7 this time. Now I wait???.. Thank you .. For asking ?

Well, thats a good thing they asked you to retake it! Plus you did way better :) there is a reason they gave you another chance!! So stay positive!!
