UTHSCSA Spring 2015

I haven't seen a thread for the Health Science Center in San Antonio, so I decided to create one since I am curious as to when we will find out if we are accepted or not. I am very nervous! I really want to go to this school but I know a couple of people that didn't get accepted from previous terms that had a better GPA or a better TEAS V score than I do. I am praying!!!

You are very welcome! :) I received an email from Brandy saying she as my teas and toefl score (since I am international) and I also got an enaik from nursingCAS saying that I am all done! They already calculated my gpa and stuff... So now I just hace to wait (hardest part I believe :o )

I sent my TEAS last week so I'm waiting on that email. Where are you originally commuting from if I may ask?

It is nerve wrecking but that's why they are very good schools right? I gained 10 pounds these past 2 month waiting on UTMB- Galveston. That is my first option because it is closer but UTHSCSA is my strong second option

When will they let you know (galveston) and if they both accept you... Which one would you pick?

No worries and it is my first option but I would still love to attend San Antonio. A close family friend who grew with me lives there!

Has anyone attended a Information session ..open houses?

No. I wanted to but I live in houston, so it has been hard for me to attend one even though I go to SA every weekend. From what I saw in the website most of the info sessions are during weekdays :/

Hi guys! Its crunch time! I missed the application cycle for fall '14 because of old transcript issues. Now that those are taken care of, I cannot wait to send everything in. My cumulative GPA isn't that great, and my math/science is decent, but sure isn't a 4.0.

I take my TEAS test on the 26th and am still doing a little extra studying. Every little bit helps, right......right?? haha I hope so. Good luck to everyone! I will be back to let you guys know how I did on my TEAS

Hi! Nice meeting you :) good luck to you too! Are you done with application? I wonder if a lot of people applied to this univ since we only had 5 people on this thread! Compared to passed applications this thread is so not active :o or maybe they just dont know about this website... Who knows :)

yes I finished my application! Yeah I wonder if there aren't that many people applying....but it seems like spring entrance for other years was pretty active!

Did everyone already submit their applications? I thought about waiting until after I got my score for the TEAs, but I am starting to wonder if there is any point to waiting. I'm just so nervous/anxious!!

I submitted my application before I took the TEAS and before I sent my transcripts. I got an email from uthscsa saying they have my score, and nursingcas already evaluated my application and calculated my gpa. I thought about getting things out of the way when I had them ready you know? You dont really need anything in order to complete your application, just basic info and your coursework. I would submit it :)
