UPDATE: Changes: New Log In Requirement

I haven't seen a thread for the Health Science Center in San Antonio, so I decided to create one since I am curious as to when we will find out if we are accepted or not. I am very nervous! I really want to go to this school but I know a couple of people that didn't get accepted from previous terms that had a better GPA or a better TEAS V score than I do. I am praying!!!

I applied as well for Spring 2015 traditional BSN program. I'm just really nervous, as I know all of us can surely relate. My Birthday is next week and to be honest all I want is an acceptance. How soon are letters sent out?

And I have no idea when they will be sent out. From previous semesters, it was about 6-8 weeks. So lonnng...

Hello everyone, my name is Icy

I am also submitting my application for the Spring 2015 =)

Thought I'd be less nervous if I post something here and talk to people who are doing the same thing I am, so I signed up

UTHSCSA is my only choice, so if I didn't get it I'd have to wait to apply for the fall

I didn't do as well as I should have done on my Teas that's why I'm really worried that they wouldn't give me a chance,

but I have a GPA of 3.62 and 3.5ish on science and math, so I certainly hope the GPA will save me :cat:

Uthscsa is also my only choice. Aaahhh this wait is going to be so hard!

1 day before deadline! :)

I just completed all my summer classes at the Alamo colleges now I have to wait till the grades come out officially so that I could send the final transcript to nursingcas and pray that it will automagically get there by August 10th :dead:

It's driving me crazy

I hope it gets there in time! I just requested one on Tuesday from St. Philips. They SAID 5-7 business days, so we SHOULD be good. *fingers crossed*

Hey y'all!! Has anyone received a supplemental application? I'm not sure if they send those out after the deadline or after you submit your application. I submitted my app in June and haven't received anything so I'm getting worried. :nailbiting:

I dont think they are going to send them out for another 6-8 weeks. They wait until the deadline to start reviewing them. Good luck to you!

Hey, I know exactly how you feel I made a decent grade on the teas, it said I was proficient and when I went to the information session that they had back in april I told them what I had made on my teas and that my math and science gpa was 3.4 and my accumulative gpa was a 3.3 and they told me I sounded like a good candidate.. my fingers have been crossed ever since I hit the submit button on my application to nursingcas!!! I applied to both UTHSC and SAC but my goal is UTHSC. September can not come fast enough!!

No I have not received anything as of yet, those will go out after the application deadline. I can't wait!!
